Raimundo Otero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Timur Aktar made a huge save. Raimundo Otero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timur Aktar having to make a save. Hakan Kutlughan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Di Toma having to interfere. Enrico Di Toma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakan Kutlughan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hakan Kutlughan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrico Di Toma having to make a save. A.Mekikspor's Ismail Demirsoy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Timur Aktar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Raimundo Otero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hakan Kutlughan was the one to do the kick off.
