Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Turan Çağan made the kick off and thus started the match. Atilla Bumin Sartık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Ceceli in the 3rd minute of the match. Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turan Çağan in the 6th minute of play. Aktan Akaydın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. şahin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Turan Çağan scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin, making the score, 1-0. In the 15th match minute, şahin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samim Pekdemir to maneuver through the defense. Samim Pekdemir charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samim Pekdemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes şahin got a freekick which was hit by Samim Pekdemir. Samim Pekdemir hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Aktan Akaydın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Can Tokyürek in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilla Bumin Sartık prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bandırmaspor's Turan Çağan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to şahin getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tayfun Vahat hit a great ball. After some careless play in the şahin defense, Aktan Akaydın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin. The şahin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turan Çağan in the 38th minute of play forced şahin's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turan Çağan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin 40 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 44th minute, but Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving şahin hanging dry this time. Aktan Akaydın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Turan Çağan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, şahin's goal looked a bit too open when Turan Çağan came free, but Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aktan Akaydın scored 4-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hayrettin İlsev fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored şahin's protests and gave Hayrettin İlsev a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Turan Çağan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandırmaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Turan Çağan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aktan Akaydın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Aktan Akaydın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Hamit Necat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Turan Çağan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandırmaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktan Akaydın in the 88th minute of play forced şahin's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Turan Çağan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aktan Akaydın in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Rıfat Demirtekin saved şahin from getting behind. In the 97th minute Halil Can Tokyürek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Bumin Sartık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Bandırmaspor were the better team. Bandırmaspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
