Atilla Kağan Altun charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilla Kağan Altun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atilla Kağan Altun kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Abuzer Boğatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Domaracki in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Domaracki in the 10th minute of play forced Güzelyalı FK's goalkeeper Abuzer Boğatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Domaracki scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abuzer Boğatekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bican Üstüner made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Boran İlgi sent off a good shot on target. Bican Üstüner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yiğitcan Keykubad in the 36th minute. When Bedirhan Sahadettin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güzelyalı FK's protests and gave Bedirhan Sahadettin a yellow card for diving instead. Bedirhan Sahadettin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Bican Üstüner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedirhan Sahadettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Güzelyalı FK's Abuzer Boğatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Domaracki in the 46th minute of play. After the first half HÜRRİYETSPOR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match Atilla Bilginer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abuzer Boğatekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reyes Gibbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abuzer Boğatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Bedirhan Sahadettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bican Üstüner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience was convinced that Reyes Gibbs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abuzer Boğatekin was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Bican Üstüner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğitcan Keykubad in the 75th minute of play. Bican Üstüner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedirhan Sahadettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reyes Gibbs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abuzer Boğatekin having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Samir Ünüvar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bican Üstüner was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Güzelyalı FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while HÜRRİYETSPOR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
