The audience thought a goal was coming when Erbatur Atik got free with Aşır Subutay in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Vedat Ortanca might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aşır Subutay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Vedat Ortanca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute of the match, Ali Vedat Ortanca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aşır Subutay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 26 minutes into the match, ZonguldaKömürSk's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Hinoğlu came free, but Temel Doğulu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan Hinoğlu in the 30th minute of play forced ZonguldaKömürSk's goalkeeper Temel Doğulu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aşır Subutay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Vedat Ortanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murathan Hinoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Dogubeyazit JK's corner Hayyam Arabacı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Temel Doğulu quite easily take care of the ball. If Murathan Hinoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, İzzet Salih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogubeyazit JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İzzet Salih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erbatur Atik in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aşır Subutay saved Dogubeyazit JK from getting behind. When İzzet Salih came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dogubeyazit JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İzzet Salih couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dogubeyazit JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
