If Türker Ulukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Ali Numan Canbolat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selahaddin Yumlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 14 minutes, Cevdet Sonay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serik and the Aksarayspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cevdet Sonay kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Serik booed when Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Kulan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orçun Urandu during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Serik getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Orçun Urandu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Serik's zone, Ali Numan Canbolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selahaddin Yumlu came out of the goal and Ali Numan Canbolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yıldıray Kayaalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Türker Ulukan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selahaddin Yumlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulaziz Uruk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arman Muhlis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Ali Numan Canbolat came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Aksarayspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Numan Canbolat couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songurhan Yordam in the 42nd minute of play forced Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Oktay Hatemoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Yıldıray Kayaalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yıldıray Kayaalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yıldıray Kayaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Hatemoğlu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Türker Ulukan made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vahit Pozan during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Serik's Vahit Pozan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Oktay Hatemoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldıray Kayaalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Serik booed when Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Boyraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oktay Hatemoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulaziz Uruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Aksarayspor getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Berker Rıza Boyraz hit a great ball. When Serik's Abdulaziz Uruk in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aksarayspor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute, Ali Numan Canbolat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aksarayspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Abdulaziz Uruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulaziz Uruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Abdulaziz Uruk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oktay Hatemoğlu was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berker Rıza Boyraz during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berker Rıza Boyraz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Oktay Hatemoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Aksarayspor support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
