The Ergani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aydemir Nefer should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Babür Özbek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Rıfat Uluçam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Aydemir Nefer made a huge save. Yılmaz Pekdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aydemir Nefer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Uğur Mesut took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Aydemir Nefer to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute of the match, Yılmaz Pekdemir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aydemir Nefer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If İsmail Erüstün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Uğur Mesut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yunak and the Ergani players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ergani booed when Yunak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Mesut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aydemir Nefer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yılmaz Pekdemir's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Yunak's Yılmaz Pekdemir made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aydemir Nefer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Uğur Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yunak's supporters rose to their feet, but Uğur Mesut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aydemir Nefer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Yunak supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yunak would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
