But to his dismay, Orhan Veli Şimşektürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Şimşektürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ShaolinSoccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarakli the free kick. After a rather tough play, ShaolinSoccer's Orhan Veli Şimşektürk got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Tarakli's Derya Ekemen in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ShaolinSoccer's goalie prevented a goal. Bedir Alansoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ShaolinSoccer's Fazıl Uçkun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Akçınar in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Tarakli's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Şimşektürk came free, but Armağan Dersu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Oğuz Haylaz's late challenge caught a Tarakli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fazıl Uçkun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derya Ekemen's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Demir Çetinalp fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarakli's protests and gave Demir Çetinalp a yellow card for diving instead. Demir Çetinalp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bedir Alansoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. ShaolinSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedir Alansoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armağan Dersu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarakli's goalkeeper Armağan Dersu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orhan Veli Şimşektürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armağan Dersu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orhan Veli Şimşektürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Derya Ekemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazıl Uçkun having to interfere. Armağan Dersu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Veli Şimşektürk in the 43rd minute of play. If Bedir Alansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarakli were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after ShaolinSoccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İslam Kınay took the corner. In the 95th minute, Tarakli's Derya Ekemen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fazıl Uçkun. Fazıl Uçkun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. ShaolinSoccer were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
