Özal Erokay's late challenge caught a Boldi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özal Erokay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Lacin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özal Erokay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lacin booed when Boldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaaddin Kutsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boldi's Babür Yağızkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alptuğ Erakalın in the 14th minute of play. Babür Yağızkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hami Ataoğlu in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Lacin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafer Akkoç to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alaaddin Kutsal during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Boldi got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Kutsal. Şentürk Sadullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cankut Hürsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Lacin got a freekick which was hit by Cafer Akkoç. After a rather tough play, Lacin's Özal Erokay got a free kick in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seçkin Nesefi in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cankut Hürsoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seçkin Nesefi in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cankut Hürsoy saved Lacin from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cankut Hürsoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Emre Beytekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babür Yağızkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Yeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Ali Nabi Terim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boldi and the Lacin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Boldi got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nabi Terim. Boldi's Babür Yağızkurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Boldi from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Lacin's goal looked a bit too open when Emre Beytekin came free, but Cankut Hürsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Boldi got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Kutsal. Cafer Akkoç was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Duran Ergüven notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boldi's Babür Yağızkurt. Babür Yağızkurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lacin's Alptuğ Erakalın got a free kick in the 75th minute. Babür Yağızkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hami Ataoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hami Ataoğlu scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Babür Yağızkurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duran Ergüven got free with Babür Yağızkurt in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emre Beytekin in the 92nd minute of play forced Lacin's goalkeeper Cankut Hürsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cankut Hürsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seçkin Nesefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Lacin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lacin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
