An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Çağrı Sarim in the 3rd minute of play forced Lacin's goalkeeper Cankut Hürsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lacin's zone, Emir Umut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cankut Hürsoy came out of the goal and Emir Umut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alptuğ Erakalın in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şükrü Samil saved HOCCAAN from getting behind. After a rather tough play, HOCCAAN's Nuratay Şah got a free kick in the 8th minute. HOCCAAN's Şükrü Samil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hami Ataoğlu in the 9th minute of play. Şükrü Samil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hami Ataoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hami Ataoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Şükrü Samil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şükrü Samil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alptuğ Erakalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Lacin booed when HOCCAAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuratay Şah didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alptuğ Erakalın in the 24th minute of play forced HOCCAAN's goalkeeper Şükrü Samil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şükrü Samil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alptuğ Erakalın's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Hakkı Onur Özgebay hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With his leg Cankut Hürsoy managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when HOCCAAN's Kartal Baykara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to HOCCAAN getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mehmet Çağrı Sarim hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alptuğ Erakalın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şükrü Samil was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Kartal Baykara did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cankut Hürsoy 35 minutes into the match. With his leg Cankut Hürsoy managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when HOCCAAN's Mehmet Çağrı Sarim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kartal Baykara came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cankut Hürsoy could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kartal Baykara was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Mehmet Çağrı Sarim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HOCCAAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 56 played minutes HOCCAAN got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Okatay. In the 61st minute, İsrafil Yeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şükrü Samil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to HOCCAAN getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Afşar Okatay hit a great ball. Yavuz Selimhan Geylanlar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Şükrü Samil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cafer Akkoç. In the 81st minute Hami Ataoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şükrü Samil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alptuğ Erakalın got free with Şükrü Samil in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Lacin's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Çağrı Sarim came free, but Cankut Hürsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hami Ataoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şükrü Samil came out and tried to block the shot, but Hami Ataoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 88th minute. Şükrü Samil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hami Ataoğlu in the 98th minute of the match. The Lacin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lacin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
