The referee ignored DevGenç's protests and gave Tibet Salahaddin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Tibet Salahaddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytunç Peyami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Dimitris Felix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cüneyd Özak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtazer Akartürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dinçer Sağlamtürk lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 31 played minutes DevGenç got a freekick which was hit by Dinçer Sağlamtürk. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Aytunç Peyami put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi. After some careless play in the DevGenç defense, Aytunç Peyami kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi. The DevGenç fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, DevGenç's goal looked a bit too open when Aytunç Peyami came free, but Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Felix in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi saved DevGenç from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, DevGenç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haşmet Kaymaz to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karahan Kayan made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute, Aytunç Peyami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armutçuk Fk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dimitris Felix sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Armutçuk Fk's Sulaiman Abdul Hakam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Karahan Kayan charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karahan Kayan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dimitris Felix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitris Felix slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, DevGenç's goal looked a bit too open when Aytunç Peyami came free, but Hasan Tahsin Uçbeyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
