The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cafer Akkoç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Baran Benlioğlu. Çaltılı SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafer Akkoç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ali Baran Benlioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hami Ataoğlu in the 9th minute of play. Alpertunga Nurbaki hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Lacin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Ergüven to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Lacin's Hami Ataoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The supporters of Lacin booed when Çaltılı SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş İskenderoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Bektaş İskenderoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duran Ergüven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ali Baran Benlioğlu made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Alptuğ Erakalın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ali Baran Benlioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Çaltılı SK's Bektaş İskenderoğlu got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Fernström was the one to do the kick off. Lacin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Alvise Marra scored to the left of an out of position Cankut Hürsoy, making the score, 5-1. Bektaş İskenderoğlu got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st match minute, Çaltılı SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bektaş İskenderoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes of play, Lacin's Alptuğ Erakalın made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Baran Benlioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Alptuğ Erakalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Baran Benlioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Hamdi Sargan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Stig Fernström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cankut Hürsoy. Stig Fernström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Stig Fernström took a quick shot and it went in 6-3 without a chance for Cankut Hürsoy to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Şevket Kavi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çaltılı SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şevket Kavi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cankut Hürsoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lacin's Cankut Hürsoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lacin from getting a goal against them. If Hami Ataoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şevket Kavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cankut Hürsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lacin's zone, Akın Savtekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cankut Hürsoy came out of the goal and Akın Savtekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şevket Kavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsrafil Yeten hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Çaltılı SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
