Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aytunç Peyami to strike the kick off in the second half. Hami Ataoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lacin's supporters rose to their feet, but Hami Ataoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyd Özak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dimitris Felix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aytunç Peyami scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cankut Hürsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hüsnü Şinas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Aytunç Peyami notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lacin's Cankut Hürsoy.
