In the 19th minute Bedri Bilgetürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Kafetzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charis Kafetzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Sabit in the 21st minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, merkez kayaşehir's Orhan Ekemen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korkutalp Aktay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göztepe SK's Bedri Bilgetürk got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Göztepe SK's Birant Sabit made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charis Kafetzis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birant Sabit made a kick off. Korkutalp Aktay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Kaan Alişan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 55 minute of play. Charis Kafetzis came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Göztepe SK's Birant Sabit. But to his dismay, Birant Sabit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. With a little luck, Göztepe SK's Korkutalp Aktay got control of the ball when Yaman Demircioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yaman Demircioğlu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for merkez kayaşehir! With an all-out effort, merkez kayaşehir's Korkutalp Aktay threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Kaan Alişan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Kaan Alişan got free with Korkutalp Aktay in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charis Kafetzis came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Göztepe SK's Bedri Bilgetürk. But to his dismay, Bedri Bilgetürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. The merkez kayaşehir players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Göztepe SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
