Atabek Gündüz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencay Ballı, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SOMINECO's zone, Lokman Turhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atabek Gündüz came out of the goal and Lokman Turhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Cüneyt Sadan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyt Sadan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Ahmet Arif Uğursay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOMINECO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursag the free kick. The supporters of Bursag booed when SOMINECO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Uğursay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Taci Afak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atabek Gündüz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencay Ballı in the 15th minute of the match. Göktan Salur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arcan Turabi in the 17th minute of play. Matheus do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SOMINECO's zone, Lokman Turhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atabek Gündüz came out of the goal and Lokman Turhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bursag's Göktan Salur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbas Özak in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bursag's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cemil Dalokay was slow to take the kick. During this time SOMINECO's players had a chance to rest. Göktan Salur had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Cemil Dalokay's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zühtü Yonal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan Salur having to interfere. Matheus do Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atabek Gündüz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matheus do Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, SOMINECO's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus do Vale came free, but Atabek Gündüz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atabek Gündüz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Bursag's Matheus do Vale made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atabek Gündüz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matheus do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matheus do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atabek Gündüz having to interfere. Arcan Turabi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Atabek Gündüz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gencay Ballı sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes in the game, Gencay Ballı fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Atabek Gündüz having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Matheus do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atabek Gündüz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Lokman Turhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atabek Gündüz having to interfere. Atabek Gündüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Ballı in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Matheus do Vale could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Atabek Gündüz however easily saved by the left post. In the 73rd match minute, SOMINECO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cemil Dalokay to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Ballı might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atabek Gündüz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gencay Ballı ran back to his position shaking his head. Atabek Gündüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lokman Turhan in the 76th minute of play. Lokman Turhan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Atabek Gündüz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursag. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Atabek Gündüz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. SOMINECO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Lokman Turhan scored to the left of an out of position Atabek Gündüz, making the score, 0-6. In the 94th minute Lokman Turhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atabek Gündüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zühtü Yonal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bursag's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
