In the 29th minute, Derviş Karluk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bursalona's zone, Nuralp Diclehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahadır Doğanay came out of the goal and Nuralp Diclehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haldun Onay got free with Bogdan Strungă in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogdan Strungă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Onay in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Yılmaz in the 38th minute of play forced Bursalona's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bursalona's Ali Kağan Oncel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Haldun Onay struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bogdan Strungă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursalona. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuralp Diclehan to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Bursalona got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hamdi Dalmaz. deathsidestory's Bogdan Strungă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Onay in the 59th minute of play. With an all-out effort, deathsidestory's Bahadır Doğanay threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nuralp Diclehan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th match minute, deathsidestory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günay Seza to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Murathan İcabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursalona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murathan İcabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Bursalona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikail Arabacı to maneuver through the defense. deathsidestory's Gökçen Bozlak was substituted for Erkut Yılmaz. After a rather tough play, Bursalona's Mikail Arabacı got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Bursalona's Murathan İcabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Strungă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bogdan Strungă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şimşek Tur in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bursalona had won after a very even match.
