With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harun Oymen in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Kayrabay saved Lazutlar SK from getting behind. A collision led to Manchester City FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmet Fikret Çakmur hit a great ball. Şensoy Yücealp made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Arif Çelebi Tüzel sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Manchester City FC defense, Arif Çelebi Tüzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şensoy Yücealp. The Manchester City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şensoy Yücealp should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Lazutlar SK's Keramettin Celilay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şensoy Yücealp. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Aktaç Bektaş put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Manchester City FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lazutlar SK:s goal. Şensoy Yücealp had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Hao Jun Si's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arif Çelebi Tüzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Efekan Hedef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City FC and the Lazutlar SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Manchester City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efekan Hedef to maneuver through the defense. Şensoy Yücealp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 42nd minute. Lazutlar SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hao Jun Si in the 43rd minute. If Kandemir Zeynelabidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kandemir Zeynelabidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Şensoy Yücealp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harun Oymen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şensoy Yücealp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onur Mevlit, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Mevlit in the 54th minute of play forced Manchester City FC's goalkeeper Şensoy Yücealp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onur Mevlit kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Durmuş Bahadıroğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esen Kayrabay skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute Kandemir Zeynelabidin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şensoy Yücealp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Arif Çelebi Tüzel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şensoy Yücealp. Manchester City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Çelebi Tüzel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Şensoy Yücealp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Arif Çelebi Tüzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lazutlar SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lazutlar SK's Esen Kayrabay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gökalp Hayırlı in the 82nd minute of play. Arif Çelebi Tüzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes Manchester City FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hao Jun Si who took care of the corner kick. Lazutlar SK's Keramettin Celilay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şensoy Yücealp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kandemir Zeynelabidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Şensoy Yücealp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
