After a rather tough play, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Battal Özguc got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Cemil Özguc came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the ERCİYES KARTALI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemil Özguc couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes of play, ERCİYES KARTALI's Ramo Ramø made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Okan Akdoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fausto Tesone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zafer Oncel got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alican Sungurbay. In the 21st minute Ramo Ramø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okan Akdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ramo Ramø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, ERCİYES KARTALI's goal looked a bit too open when Bican Durualp came free, but Cleto Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ERCİYES KARTALI booed when ESKİŞEHİRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Oncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fausto Tesone managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERCİYES KARTALI's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Tesone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Okan Akdoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Okan Akdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramo Ramø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Bican Durualp in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ERCİYES KARTALI's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Ramo Ramø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Okan Akdoğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramo Ramø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Akdoğan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to ERCİYES KARTALI getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arda Sunguralp hit a great ball. The supporters of ERCİYES KARTALI booed when ESKİŞEHİRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Oncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ERCİYES KARTALI were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bican Durualp to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes ERCİYES KARTALI got a freekick which was hit by Arda Sunguralp. After a defensive mix-up in ERCİYES KARTALI's zone, Hadi Güdeş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Baldovino came out of the goal and Hadi Güdeş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's goalkeeper Okan Akdoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramo Ramø in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okan Akdoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bican Durualp in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Baldovino saved ERCİYES KARTALI from getting behind. Ramo Ramø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Akdoğan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Oğuzhan Yayalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okan Akdoğan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Haşmet Tuğtaşı charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haşmet Tuğtaşı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute Bican Durualp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Baldovino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Haşmet Tuğtaşı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cleto Baldovino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ESKİŞEHİRSPOR reached it. In the 92nd minute, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramo Ramø fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The ERCİYES KARTALI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ERCİYES KARTALI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
