Jan-Maria Pfaff was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Baldomero Cordaryal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomero Cordaryal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Ihintza in the 8th minute of play forced Ekmek spor's goalkeeper Jan-Maria Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominic Westelinx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xove Añel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Benicio Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Westelinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Tadeo Silvanito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jan-Maria Pfaff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Silvanito scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Maria Pfaff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Ekmek spor got a freekick which was hit by Mücahit Afgan. In the 21st minute, Baldomero Cordaryal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan-Maria Pfaff. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 27th match minute, Ekmek spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Kalatzis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ekmek spor getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Xove Añel hit a great ball. Club Grunge's Genaro Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İsmail Hakkı Raci kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The long shot by Genaro Ihintza in the 35th minute really tested Jan-Maria Pfaff's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jan-Maria Pfaff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Ihintza's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Baldomero Cordaryals short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jan-Maria Pfaff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute, Baldomero Cordaryal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Maria Pfaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 42ndth minute of the game Genaro Ihintza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekmek spor's Jan-Maria Pfaff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ekmek spor's Jan-Maria Pfaff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ekmek spor from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Ihintza to make the kick off. Genaro Ihintza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Maria Pfaff having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Ihintza in the 51st minute of play forced Ekmek spor's goalkeeper Jan-Maria Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Silvanito in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Maria Pfaff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominic Westelinx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xove Añel in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Genaro Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Maria Pfaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mücahit Afgan's late challenge caught a Club Grunge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mücahit Afgan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Mücahit Afgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Cordaryal in the 61st minute of play forced Ekmek spor's goalkeeper Jan-Maria Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xove Añel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominic Westelinx came out and tried to block the shot, but Xove Añel slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute Tadeo Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Maria Pfaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Batıray Özaltan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Maria Pfaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. If Xove Añel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Xove Añel sped through Club Grunge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominic Westelinx. Benicio Suero hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jan-Maria Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Maria Pfaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Silvanito in the 88th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Xove Añel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Grunge's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
