In the 47th minute, Haluk Turbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özer Tanalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Samih couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Kaynarca's goal looked a bit too open when Özer Tanalp came free, but Dündar Dağhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eorlingas United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
