The supporters of YAKUPOĞLUSPOR A.Ş booed when Ankara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Demirkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Necdet Cantez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Emrah Tacik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Necdet Cantez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Emrah Tacik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Namal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 36 played minutes Ankara got a freekick which was hit by Beşir Kaçkar. Gafur Türkşen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Geovânio Moreno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the game, Victorino Birjaio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovânio Moreno. Victorino Birjaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Ankara's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Birjaio came free, but Geovânio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Gafur Türkşen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hurşit Tunçaslan made a kick off. Geovânio Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Birjaio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Hurşit Tunçaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emrah Tacik having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Victorino Birjaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Geovânio Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovânio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gafur Türkşen in the 61st minute of play. Geovânio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Birjaio in the 68th minute of play forced Ankara's goalkeeper Geovânio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Birjaio in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haldun Erbatur hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Gafur Türkşen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Moreno came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by YAKUPOĞLUSPOR A.Ş's Victorino Birjaio. But to his dismay, Victorino Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Geovânio Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Birjaio went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Geovânio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haldun Erbatur kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When YAKUPOĞLUSPOR A.Ş's Gafur Türkşen in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
