Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Güneri Kurman scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andaç Yıldırım charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andaç Yıldırım the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Pasabahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andaç Yıldırım to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneri Kurman in the 14th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Pasabahce's Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu. But to his dismay, Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güneri Kurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Güneri Kurman's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Güneri Kurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Ertunç Taşkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinçer İlsak having to make a save. Dinçer İlsak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Tugay Ferikoğlu in the 29th minute of play. Güneri Kurman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ertunç Taşkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Besim Tacik in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Güneri Kurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Pasabahce were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güneri Kurman was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Ertunç Taşkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasabahce's Dinçer İlsak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Besim Tacik in the 57th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Ertunç Taşkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st play minute Güneri Kurman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin. 1-3. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ali Atıf Oksar hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Güneri Kurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güneri Kurman didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Pasabahce's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With 77 minutes on the clock, Ali Atıf Oksar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 76 minutes into the game, one of Manchester United FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin got control of the ball when Mehmet Ferit Tuğcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güneri Kurman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Pasabahce's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 86 in the game by Güneri Kurman from a close distance when the talented Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin managed to make a qualified save. Manchester United FC's players were relieved. After having played for 87 minutes, Önder Hacıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasabahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Önder Hacıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Güneri Kurman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Pasabahce's Mustafa Cumhur Sabeddin threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Güneri Kurman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arif Tugay Ferikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pasabahce's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
