Ahmet Kadri Kutberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ahmet Harun Merdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Özden Saye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Harun Merdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Harun Merdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Tekinel in the 12th minute of the match. Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Abdi Saygın Acabay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Harun Merdan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ahmet Harun Merdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Tekinel in the 19th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mardin Kızıltepe's goalie and right to Bedirhan Hunalp. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mardin Kızıltepe's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Atilla Tekinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Harun Merdan having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Mardin Kızıltepe's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Tekinel came free, but Ahmet Harun Merdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Abdi Saygın Acabay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmet Harun Merdan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bedirhan Hunalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44th play minutes Atilla Tekinel shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Ahmet Harun Merdan and just under the crossbar into goal. Atilla Tekinel took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Harun Merdan. Ahmet Harun Merdan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jelte van de Meerakker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Atilla Tekinel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Harun Merdan. Ahmet Harun Merdan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Atilla Tekinel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Harun Merdan. That made the score 0-6 in the 64 minute of play. Ahmet Harun Merdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Tekinel's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Mardin Kızıltepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stepan Belavin to maneuver through the defense. When Atilla Tekinel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ahmet Harun Merdan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mardin Kızıltepe's Anıl Ozan Seyidhan got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özden Saye got free with Ahmet Harun Merdan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th play minute Özden Saye came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ahmet Harun Merdan. 0-7. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Atilla Tekinel put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Harun Merdan. In the 91st minute, Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Atilla Tekinel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Harun Merdan. Ahmet Harun Merdan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The supporters of Yatagan Futbol Akademi booed when Mardin Kızıltepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stepan Belavin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Yatagan Futbol Akademi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mardin Kızıltepe throughout the match.
