Mehmet Çağrı Açıker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Oykan in the 9th minute of play. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naci Tuncel in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Naci Tuncel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güner Özguven got free with Bayram İnceman in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Georg Bringtoft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Oykan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
