The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, SakaryAşk's Bulut Bulutelli got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Arif Memduh Toygun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayazpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Memduh Toygun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özer Midilli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doğuş Çetinoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bulut Bulutelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ayazpasa were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after SakaryAşk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdulaziz Keskinel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that İskender Müslim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doğuş Çetinoz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 31st minute, Pankracy Byczewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özer Midilli. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Ayazpasa booed when SakaryAşk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Bilge Başer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, SakaryAşk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arif Memduh Toygun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 39 minutes of play, SakaryAşk's Arif Bilge Başer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doğuş Çetinoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Byczewski in the 44th minute of play forced SakaryAşk's goalkeeper Özer Midilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Byczewski couldn't finish the play. Ayazpasa's Doğuş Çetinoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Ayazpasa from getting a goal against them. Doğuş Çetinoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kudret Yerlikaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Ayazpasa got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Turan Candeğer. Ayazpasa's Doğuş Çetinoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ayazpasa from getting a goal against them. Arif Memduh Toygun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ayazpasa lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
