The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BeyoğluJK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pehlivanköy the free kick. After 14 played minutes BeyoğluJK got a freekick which was hit by Zhou Zheng Feng. After 20 minutes of play, BeyoğluJK's Hüseyin Turan Elçibey made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nihat Mesut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stephan Appiah might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 马誉益. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephan Appiah ran back to his position shaking his head. BeyoğluJK's 马誉益 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Pehlivanköy booed when BeyoğluJK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 31st minute of play forced BeyoğluJK's goalkeeper 马誉益 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BeyoğluJK defense, Tahsin Atacan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 马誉益. The BeyoğluJK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 马誉益 should have stopped the shot. Nihat Mesut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Alatay in the 35th minute of the match. Hüseyin Turan Elçibey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute İstemihan Tokuşhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nihat Mesut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayvaz Tanay kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Ayvaz Tanay got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 48 played minutes Pehlivanköy got a freekick which was hit by Ayvaz Tanay. Gafur Alatay in the 49thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nihat Mesut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephan Appiah made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Gafur Alatay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pehlivanköy's Nihat Mesut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tahsin Atacan's late challenge caught a BeyoğluJK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tahsin Atacan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tahsin Atacan hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Pehlivanköy's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Tokuşhan came free, but Nihat Mesut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BeyoğluJK's Duran Ünlüer got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BeyoğluJK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Stephan Appiah scored to the left of an out of position 马誉益, making the score, 1-3. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jasper Rosario hit a great ball. İstemihan Tokuşhan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 63 minutes, Gafur Alatay made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pehlivanköy's Nihat Mesut tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. BeyoğluJK's 马誉益 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save BeyoğluJK from getting a goal against them. Kılıç Özyuva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 马誉益 having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Tahsin Atacan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Denizalp in the 82nd minute of play forced BeyoğluJK's goalkeeper 马誉益 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arman Denizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duran Ünlüer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Pehlivanköy's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Alatay came free, but Nihat Mesut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kılıç Özyuva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Arman Denizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 马誉益 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kaan Aktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, BeyoğluJK's 马誉益 got control of the ball when Arman Denizalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Pehlivanköy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BeyoğluJK.
