LİONS PEAK's Tomas Peeters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rıza Vuralhan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Işık Hurmacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ogün Öztekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Kubilay Gündeş fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's protests and gave Kubilay Gündeş a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Kubilay Gündeş. After a rather tough play, LİONS PEAK's Enginalp Işıklı got a free kick in the 61st minute. LİONS PEAK's Giannis Seftalias was substituted for Hamlet Häfliger. Işık Hurmacı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerzy Marchefka went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute Jerzy Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Hurmacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Deniz Ekin in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ahmet Korkut Bengialp. Jerzy Marchefka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Peeters's late challenge caught a GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Peeters helped the player get up and apologised. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
