GEOMATİC FK's Silviu Filip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save GEOMATİC FK from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Vallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elon-Reeve Muška having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, GEOMATİC FK's Çağlar Demirer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elon-Reeve Muška was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silviu Filip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waga Netto in the 21st minute of play. Elon-Reeve Muška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Kakisim, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Silviu Filip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waga Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the GEOMATİC FK defense, Waga Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Filip. The GEOMATİC FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Filip should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korkut Kırgız to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Birger Rochat managed to get in a good position for a shot. GEOMATİC FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Rochat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elon-Reeve Muška breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
