Hami Toktuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Czysta in the 7th minute of play forced G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Miromir Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamil Babacan got free with Hami Toktuğ in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, G . S A R A Y's goal looked a bit too open when Kazım Zafer came free, but Miromir Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes G . S A R A Y's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Heinz Lewandowski who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute Torbjörn Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Kociniewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, G . Svante Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hami Toktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragon Army were furious when Rıfkı Tercan was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. S A R A Y's Rüknettin Tosunoğlu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hami Toktuğ. In the 31st minute, Kamil Babacan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Heinz Lewandowski succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Dragon Army's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Wassenius came free, but Hami Toktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Heinz Lewandowski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Kociniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hami Toktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to Dragon Army getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kaan Ayhan hit a great ball. Hami Toktuğ was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bertil Wassenius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 49 minute of play.

The wind increased when Svante Åberg made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kazım Zafer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miromir Kociniewski was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
