The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker got free with Frits Lenoir in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Santos came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Indiana University's Frits Lenoir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Indiana University from getting a goal against them. Lupe Bower could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Frits Lenoir made a huge save.
