But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Santagata couldn't finish the play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damiano Santagata made a kick off. Giotis Tripotseris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Santagata in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Eşeği Saldım Çayıra got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Santagata. Güney Olcay charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güney Olcay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Güney Olcay hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Nando Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturay Zaim in the 93rd minute. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
