The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciccio Presutti got free with Marcus Mazza in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Cenan in the 92nd minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karapinar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though F.C internazionale had controlled the match.
