After some careless play in the Basmane Texas defense, Kai Havertz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur. The Basmane Texas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Anıl İltemur should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Adolfo Larrauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcell Jacobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Kai Havertz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur. Basmane Texas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kai Havertz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hamit Lefter hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Kai Havertz put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur. The throw-in from Hamit Lefter in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bozkurt's Philippe Albert. Hamit Lefter charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamit Lefter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kai Havertz might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Anıl İltemur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kai Havertz ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Ali Lut to make the kick off. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamit Lefter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozkurt's Muhammet Çetinel was substituted for Ergün Benlioğlu. Bozkurt's Mustafa Hakan Sufi was substituted for Kai Havertz. Hamit Lefter kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Turan Honazlı hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Philippe Albert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Anıl İltemur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Poyraz Çavuş made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur. Basmane Texas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Mehmet Anıl İltemur came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Bozkurt's Mustafa Hakan Sufi. But to his dismay, Mustafa Hakan Sufi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 83rd minute Mustafa Hakan Sufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Anıl İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Balaban Erkılıç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basmane Texas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bozkurt the free kick. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balaban Erkılıç didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Emrullah Erboy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur. Basmane Texas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emrullah Erboy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 90th minute Mustafa Hakan Sufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Anıl İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basmane Texas's Mehmet Anıl İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrullah Erboy in the 91st minute of play. Mustafa Hakan Sufi scored 8-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Anıl İltemur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basmane Texas's Mehmet Anıl İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Jacobs in the 95th minute of play. Mehmet Anıl İltemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcell Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Hakan Sufi in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Anıl İltemur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Bozkurt were the better team. Bozkurt's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
