Anton Biryukov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Mordvinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Vsevolod Loginov came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Cat's Ippolit Nikeshin. But to his dismay, Ippolit Nikeshin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gennadiy Mordvinov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Anton Biryukov made a huge save. Vsevolod Loginov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Bazen in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Выборгский Викинг booed when Black Cat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Peryshkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Cat's Anton Biryukov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Nikiforov in the 35th minute of play. Vladimir Arguchinskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ippolit Nikeshin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vsevolod Loginov was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Black Cat's Anton Biryukov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Black Cat from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ippolit Nikeshin to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Viktor Nikiforov notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Black Cat's Anton Biryukov. Anton Biryukov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Выборгский Викинг made a substitution. Mariusz Daszkowski replaced Viktor Nikiforov. Black Cat's Egor Barykov was substituted for Felix Bazen. Ippolit Nikeshin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vsevolod Loginov having to interfere. In the 76th minute Efrem Yurchishin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Biryukov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Emelyanov in the 93rd minute of play forced Выборгский Викинг's goalkeeper Vsevolod Loginov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
