With a left leg Oleg Ladygin saved Eysk from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Курск ФК's Andrey Denisov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oleg Ladygin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frutos Mallo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zinoviy Borisov sent off a good shot on target. Frutos Mallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Barral in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Barral in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frutos Mallo saved Курск ФК from getting behind. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Eysk made a substitution. Arkadiy Bolshakov replaced Albert Malyugin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. Frutos Mallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nabi Dündaroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Eduard Sytin with Andrew Goff as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Курск ФК booed when Eysk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Goff didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Andrey Denisov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oleg Ladygin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Курск ФК's Filimon Tarasov was substituted for Filipp Ilyin. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eysk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. But to his dismay, Boris Basalaev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Boris Basalaev might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oleg Ladygin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Basalaev ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Basalaev in the 96th minute of play forced Eysk's goalkeeper Oleg Ladygin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Курск ФК's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
