The audience thought a goal was coming when Waheed Al Rodhan got free with Mnawer Al Srae in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamzah Al Jalahma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemir Al Fadhalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Romanalafia FC got a freekick which was hit by Mahdi Al Harban. When Waheed Al Rodhan fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kentish Town's protests and gave Waheed Al Rodhan a yellow card for diving instead. The coaching staff of Romanalafia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saif Al Jalahma had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 80th minute, one of Romanalafia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Romanalafia FC. The referee gave Kentish Town a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. Romanalafia FC's Mnawer Al Srae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meshal Al Naqi in the 101st minute of play. Kentish Town's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
