After 15 played minutes Maccabi Netanya got a freekick which was hit by Morel Hemo. 15 minutes into the match, Giovanni Freud notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maccabi Netanya's Dedê Hermes. Dedê Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Caesarea's zone, Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haim Ziv came out of the goal and Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prodromos Varelopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haim Ziv having to make a save. Haim Ziv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Prodromos Varelopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maccabi Netanya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prodromos Varelopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Azariya Poriah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caesarea fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Maccabi Netanya. Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Haim Ziv. 5-1.
