Pepijn de Vlieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Francescoli in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Enzo Francescoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepijn de Vlieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Francescoli in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepijn de Vlieger saved FC bjk from getting behind. The supporters of Defensores De Eilat booed when FC bjk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menahem-Mendel Kass didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enzo Francescoli came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Defensores De Eilat fans jumped to their feet.
