He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Denis Filanenko. After a rather tough play, AC BELARUS MINSK FC's Arhip Talaiko got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rechitsa's Anton Gavrosh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Ishyk in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Yuriy Ishyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC BELARUS MINSK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuriy Ishyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Gavrosh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuriy Ishyk in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Yuriy Ishyk made the kick off in the second half. Valery Lisovsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Gavrosh having to interfere. Arhip Talaiko lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Rechitsa. Dmitry Andronov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Filanenko. 2-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Tião Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rechitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tião Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rechitsa's Lubamir Yaskovich got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, AC BELARUS MINSK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mscislav Lisik came free, but Denis Filanenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
