Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nodar Anghelache came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC GAGRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nodar Anghelache couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nodar Anghelache in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Ee saved Georgian F.C. from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Iveri Bitsadze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GAGRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Georgian F.C. the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nukri Bitsadze was the one to do the kick off. Lucjan Walentowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nukri Bitsadze's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nodar Anghelache managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC GAGRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Nodar Anghelache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Ee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC GAGRA booed when Georgian F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydin Pozharskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okhoropir Labadze, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 69th minute, Okhoropir Labadze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Ee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liparit Andrzheevskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nukri Bitsadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lucjan Walentowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
