Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ziyad Gärayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cavid Äşräfov, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ziyad Gärayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tehran Abdulrähimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Zängilan PFK's Cavid Äşräfov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziyad Gärayev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Qobustan defense, Tehran Abdulrähimov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziyad Gärayev. The Qobustan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziyad Gärayev should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Qabil Haciyev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fuad Alxanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabir Adiyev having to interfere. The supporters of Zängilan PFK booed when Qobustan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ähmäd Feruzov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuad Alxanov's late challenge caught a Zängilan PFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fuad Alxanov helped the player get up and apologised. Fuad Alxanov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Qobustan's Ziyad Gärayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cavid Äşräfov in the 26th minute of play. Äbilfäz Sultanov kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tehran Abdulrähimov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tehran Abdulrähimov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zängilan PFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tehran Abdulrähimov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziyad Gärayev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tehran Abdulrähimov, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ziyad Gärayev was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Qobustan getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Äbilfäz Sultanov hit a great ball. When Zängilan PFK's Cavid Äşräfov in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qobustan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Ähmäd Feruzov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ziyad Gärayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tehran Abdulrähimov in the 41st minute of the match. When Tehran Abdulrähimov came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Zängilan PFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tehran Abdulrähimov couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Cavid Äşräfov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zängilan PFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cavid Äşräfov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Qobustan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zängilan PFK were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fuad Alxanov to make the kick off. Loğman Ağäliyev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabir Adiyev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Loğman Ağäliyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabir Adiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tehran Abdulrähimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tehran Abdulrähimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cavid Äşräfov sped through Qobustan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ziyad Gärayev. Loğman Ağäliyev took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabir Adiyev. Sabir Adiyev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 70th minute, Loğman Ağäliyev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Särxan Äsädullayev struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ziyad Gärayev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zängilan PFK. Särxan Äsädullayev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziyad Gärayev having to interfere. Qobustan's Ziyad Gärayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tehran Abdulrähimov in the 95th minute of play. The Qobustan support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
