GALATASARAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Bento Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhäşim Äläkbärov came free, but Bento Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Pinho made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Häsrät Azamämmädov sent off a good shot on target. Älibaba Ähädli kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of GALATASARAY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of --FIRELAND--:s goal. The goalkeeper, Bento Pinho, was totally fooled by --FIRELAND--'s Vüqar Daşdämirov, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Häsrät Azamämmädov struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bento Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for --FIRELAND--. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto de Souza made a kick off.
