Häsän Bädiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müşfiq Qäribov in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Qarabag CF's goalkeeper Feruz Abbasäliyev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasya Utanov. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ağam Tähmäzov in the 7th minute of play. Feruz Abbasäliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Augustin in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Müşfiq Qäribov came free, but Häsän Bädiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feruz Abbasäliyev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camaläddin Bağiyev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Abşeron's goal looked a bit too open when Bent Raison came free, but Häsän Bädiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Felix Augustin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feruz Abbasäliyev. Felix Augustin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Abşeron's Felix Augustin got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Ağam Tähmäzov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Häsän Bädiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Felix Augustin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Häsän Bädiyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşqin Ağacanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With 47 minutes on the clock, Ağam Tähmäzov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ağam Tähmäzov hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The supporters of Abşeron booed when Qarabag CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ağam Tähmäzov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Qarabag CF's zone, Şiralı Hacibäyov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feruz Abbasäliyev came out of the goal and Şiralı Hacibäyov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Camaläddin Bağiyev made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Qarabag CF defense, Felix Augustin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feruz Abbasäliyev. The Qarabag CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feruz Abbasäliyev should have stopped the shot. Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eşqin Ağacanov in the 62nd minute of play. Häsän Bädiyev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Müşfiq Qäribov in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Qarabag CF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Augustin came free, but Feruz Abbasäliyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Älämdar Ağanäbiyev's late challenge caught a Qarabag CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Älämdar Ağanäbiyev helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Abşeron got a freekick which was hit by Älämdar Ağanäbiyev. In the 72nd minute, Eşqin Ağacanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nasos Chomatas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With 76 minutes on the clock, Mürsäl Kazımlı commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abşeron fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! After 82 minutes Abşeron's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eşqin Ağacanov who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eşqin Ağacanov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Häsän Bädiyev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Häsän Bädiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müşfiq Qäribov in the 87th minute of the match. Qarabag CF's Feruz Abbasäliyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasya Utanov in the 88th minute of play. Feruz Abbasäliyev came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Abşeron's Felix Augustin. But to his dismay, Felix Augustin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Bent Raison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Häsän Bädiyev managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Qarabag CF's Bent Raison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abşeron had won after a very even match.
