Spectators: 9185 (Terracing: 6890, Seating: 2112, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yahya Talaei kicked off to start the match. Reza Jalaeepour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faramarz Torabi having to interfere. Birkenhead's Faramarz Torabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Birkenhead from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Arsalnn Bazargan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafez Azizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faramarz Torabi made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jahanshah Parsivand sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Immingham's zone, Ahmad Reza Ghoreishi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hafez Azizi came out of the goal and Ahmad Reza Ghoreishi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rahim Shirzad made the kick off in the second half. Jahanshah Parsivand took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faramarz Torabi. Faramarz Torabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Arsalnn Bazargan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Hafez Azizi made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yahya Talaei in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hafez Azizi saved Immingham from getting behind. Rahim Shirzad took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faramarz Torabi. Faramarz Torabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After having played for 77 minutes, Yahya Talaei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birkenhead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yahya Talaei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jahanshah Parsivand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute of the match Mahyar Taslimi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faramarz Torabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Koosha Gohari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faramarz Torabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Immingham's Jahanshah Parsivand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faramarz Torabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rahim Shirzad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Faramarz Torabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jahanshah Parsivand in the 94th minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Faramarz Torabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Immingham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
