After some careless play in the Sheffield defense, Jahandar Taslimi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hossein Taleblou. The Sheffield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hossein Taleblou should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bolton City's zone, Cyrus Pious stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasra Lahouti came out of the goal and Cyrus Pious tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jahandar Taslimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolton City's supporters rose to their feet, but Jahandar Taslimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hossein Taleblou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hossein Taleblou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mahmoud Jahromi went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rdth minute of the game Soheil Esmaeeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolton City's Kasra Lahouti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jahandar Taslimi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jahandar Taslimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Soheil Esmaeeli made a kick off. Jalil Bahonar's late challenge caught a Bolton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jalil Bahonar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sheffield getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jalil Bahonar hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Bolton City's Mahyar Alinejad broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anoush Ghasemlou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aref Ghoreishi during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Sheffield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aref Ghoreishi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bolton City's zone, Soheil Esmaeeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasra Lahouti came out of the goal and Soheil Esmaeeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sheffield's Jalil Bahonar got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Jalil Bahonar off the ground. A collision led to Sheffield getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jalil Bahonar hit a great ball. Hossein Taleblou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Jahromi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasra Lahouti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anoush Ghasemlou in the 82nd minute. If Mahmoud Jahromi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bolton City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
