Govindarajan Chahil scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abadhya Laungani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dheeraj Grewal came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by India's Bhujyu Khongstid. But to his dismay, Bhujyu Khongstid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bhujyu Khongstid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dheeraj Grewal having to make a save. When Aninadata Khattqr fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored India's protests and gave Aninadata Khattqr a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Aninadata Khattqr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Kanakendu Khanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dheeraj Grewal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Govindarajan Chahil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abadhya Laungani. India's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Govindarajan Chahil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 38th minute, Anandaprada Kaur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abadhya Laungani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 45 played minutes Internet Explorer got a freekick which was hit by Beman Rathod. After the first half Internet Explorer were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 56 minutes, Kanakendu Khanna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. India's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kanakendu Khanna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes, Beman Rathod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internet Explorer and the India players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Internet Explorer's Beman Rathod got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Abadhya Laungani came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet Explorer's Govindarajan Chahil. But to his dismay, Govindarajan Chahil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 73 minutes, Govindarajan Chahil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internet Explorer and the India players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Govindarajan Chahil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes India got a freekick which was hit by Varinderjit Badyal. 76 minutes into the match, India's goal looked a bit too open when Anandaprada Kaur came free, but Abadhya Laungani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Govindarajan Chahil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Abadhya Laungani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abadhya Laungani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambaka Khattri in the 80th minute of the match. Govindarajan Chahil scored 1-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abadhya Laungani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Internet Explorer defense, Kanakendu Khanna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dheeraj Grewal. The Internet Explorer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dheeraj Grewal should have stopped the shot.
