The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uttam Bain during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uttam Bain hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Asapurna Chadha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anandaprada Kaur went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th match minute, Internet Explorer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atish Japra to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Internet Explorer's goalkeeper Dheeraj Grewal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uttam Bain. Dorai Choudhary charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorai Choudhary the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Asapurna Chadha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Govindarajan Chahil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asapurna Chadha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anandaprada Kaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Govindarajan Chahil put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Asapurna Chadha. Govindarajan Chahil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Ambaka Khattri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asapurna Chadha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasan Gupta was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Atish Japra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internet Explorer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cleobury Mortimer FC the free kick. With a little luck, Cleobury Mortimer FC's Asapurna Chadha got control of the ball when Govindarajan Chahil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cleobury Mortimer FC's zone, Anandaprada Kaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asapurna Chadha came out of the goal and Anandaprada Kaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Cleobury Mortimer FC got a freekick which was hit by Uttam Bain. Govindarajan Chahil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Asapurna Chadha made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cleobury Mortimer FC's Divyendu Gandhi got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Govindarajan Chahil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internet Explorer's supporters rose to their feet, but Govindarajan Chahil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asapurna Chadha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cleobury Mortimer FC's Ananda Sull got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th play minute Govindarajan Chahil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Asapurna Chadha. 0-4. In the 78th minute Vasan Gupta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dheeraj Grewal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambaka Khattri kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dheeraj Grewal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasan Gupta's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Barhanetra Lapang kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vasan Gupta's late challenge caught a Internet Explorer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasan Gupta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Internet Explorer booed when Cleobury Mortimer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasan Gupta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Govindarajan Chahil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasan Gupta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Internet Explorer played a much better game than Cleobury Mortimer FC and deserved their victory. The Cleobury Mortimer FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
