Yens De Neuter struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ciro Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PANUNDA F C. Ciro Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yens De Neuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Anyuna Parab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Nagpur FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jagatjita Bhambra hit a great ball. The supporters of PANUNDA F C booed when Nagpur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnipa Khattqr didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yens De Neuter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nagpur FC's Jaigupta Warwaha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Agnipa Khattqr kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ciro Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yens De Neuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes Nagpur FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kara Bhattacharya who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PANUNDA F C's Kara Bhattacharya to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciro Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nagpur FC's Ciro Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajendran Kalra in the 61st minute of play. Anyuna Parab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atisaya Parekh went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. PANUNDA F C made a substitution. Anyuna Parab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnipa Khattqr in the 90th minute of the match. Yens De Neuter might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yens De Neuter ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, PANUNDA F C's Yens De Neuter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
