In the 25th minute, Pichayut Lauprasert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Prakij Pornsakul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pichayut Lauprasert in the 42nd minute of play forced Sam Phran's goalkeeper Anan Intamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sam Phran getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Srivilai Janjob hit a great ball. Anan Intamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wachirawut Chanthawong, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Sommit Thanadeecharoenchok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sanpech Chotisripanporn to make the kick off. Sanpech Chotisripanporn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
