Artemio Bernal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Chanvit Jutaviriya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wachirawit Kongpetch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Artemio Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chanvit Jutaviriya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Domenec Cediel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chanvit Jutaviriya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chanvit Jutaviriya made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Domenec Cediel sent off a good shot on target. Pit Sanghirun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pikanate Savetvet having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Bilbao Baggins's Kevin Aas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pikanate Savetvet was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Khunakorn Chasuwan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pikanate Savetvet was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Khunakorn Chasuwan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bilbao Baggins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Khunakorn Chasuwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pikanate Savetvet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pit Sanghirun went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.
In the 52nd minute, Artemio Bernal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Bilbao Baggins's Chanvit Jutaviriya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Bernal in the 54th minute of play. Pikanate Savetvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pit Sanghirun's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenec Cediel in the 59th minute of play forced Bilbao Baggins's goalkeeper Chanvit Jutaviriya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Wachirawit Kongpetch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bilbao Baggins the free kick. A collision led to Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wachirawit Kongpetch hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Pit Sanghirun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artemio Bernal took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chanvit Jutaviriya. Chanvit Jutaviriya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. A collision led to Bilbao Baggins getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Phuttaphan Maneerat hit a great ball. Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Warayu Plpl was substituted for Piyapong Jamjai. After 76 played minutes Bilbao Baggins got a freekick which was hit by Phuttaphan Maneerat. 83 minutes into the match, Bilbao Baggins's Pit Sanghirun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pikanate Savetvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bilbao Baggins's Issares Sinprasertwong got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bilbao Baggins's goalkeeper Chanvit Jutaviriya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Wachirawit Kongpetch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chanvit Jutaviriya. Bilbao Baggins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wachirawit Kongpetch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. 91 minutes into the game, Adisai Keaopradung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bilbao Baggins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri the free kick. A collision led to Bilbao Baggins getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Adisai Keaopradung hit a great ball. Chanvit Jutaviriya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wachirawit Kongpetch in the 93rd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
