Nguyễn Anh Hung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Xuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Xuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nguyễn Xuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nguyễn Anh Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Anh Hung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Xuan went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Xuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Anh Hung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Bac Giang's Nguyễn Anh Hung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trịnh Cuc in the 27th minute of play. Trịnh Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nguyễn Anh Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bac Giang's Nguyễn Anh Hung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tôn Phuong in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Phan Diem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trương Hieu having to interfere. A collision led to Bac Giang getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Trần Loc hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Trần Loc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Bien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Trương Hieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Trần Loc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bac Giang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lang son no1 pro vip the free kick. Phan Diem kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Lý Pham was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, lang son no1 pro vip's Trịnh Cuc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nguyễn Anh Hung. Nguyễn Anh Hung yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nguyễn Xuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. lang son no1 pro vip's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Xuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Anh Hung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Đào Tho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nguyễn Anh Hung didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for lang son no1 pro vip. When the match was over lang son no1 pro vip could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bac Giang throughout the match.
